Antique 1908 Locomotive Switch Engine Train Photograph

Antique photo depicting a group of people in front of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway (C.R.I.&P.)'s switch engine No. 1145 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Dated November 20, 1908. Just nine years later on September 27, 1915, a huge explosion at the Ardmore train station pictured caused the deaths of 43-50 people and flattened much of downtown Ardmore, Oklahoma.
