Antique Victorian Mourning Hair Braid Wreath in Vintage Black Velvet & Satin Case

Once pressed in an old Bible as a postmortem 'memento mori' type funerary memento, now presented in an antique/vintage velvet clasping jewelry case (Bible was kept by owner). The person whose hair this braid belongs to is unknown.

Braid is loose and is presented without alteration. Stray hairs are present, but the majority of the original braid structure is preserved.
